Supports state, local, and tribal governments to implement comprehensive reentry strategies for individuals returning from adult correctional facilities. Funds programs or services that reduce recidivism by addressing various reentry needs as outlined in the Second Chance Act.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city or township, special district governments, federally recognized and other Native American tribal governments and organizations, and other units of local government such as towns, boroughs, parishes, and villages.
