The Home Labelling Fund supports the design, testing, and scaling of home labelling programs across Canada to improve home energy use and efficiency. Funded activities include deployment of home labels, data collection and disclosure enhancements, capacity building, and initiatives targeting Indigenous, rural, remote, and under-resourced communities. The fund aligns with the Canada Green Building Strategy and prioritizes national approaches to home energy labelling.
Applicants must apply through one of three funding streams. Stream 3 is exclusively open to Inuit applicants until March 31, 2027. Other streams are closed to First Nations, Métis, provincial/territorial, local governments, organizations, and industry.
