The ACS Award for Team Innovation honors multidisciplinary teams that have moved innovative ideas to commercial products in the chemical and allied industries. It funds teams demonstrating effective collaboration, documented by patents or publications, with innovations that provide societal value and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards. The award includes a shared cash prize and certificates for team members and their employers.
Eligible teams must have at least two members including one current or emeritus ACS member in good standing. The innovation must be commercialized, documented in technical literature or patents, and demonstrate societal value without major health or environmental risks.
