This grant funds organizations to expand or create training and pre-apprenticeship programs in electric vehicle repair and maintenance, EV charging station repair and maintenance, and EV fleet maintenance. Projects must provide wraparound services and ensure at least 35% of participants reside in Disadvantaged Communities. Funding may be used to purchase equipment related to training but not for EV installation. Applicants must submit a DAC Attestation Form confirming participant demographics.
Eligible organizations must provide training or pre-apprenticeship programs in EV repair and maintenance and EV charging station repair and maintenance. At least 35% of enrolled participants must reside in Disadvantaged Communities as defined by the Climate Justice Working Group.
