This grant supports Delaware hospital emergency departments to implement Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) and follow-up services for individuals at risk of or experiencing substance use disorders. Funded activities include naloxone distribution, technical assistance, data submission and monitoring, fidelity monitoring, and compliance with SAMHSA requirements. Resources for grant writing are also provided.
Eligible applicants are Delaware hospital emergency departments. The grant supports institutions within Delaware focused on substance use disorder interventions.
