The Earth System Science and Services Partnership funds research and activities to understand and predict changes in Earth's atmosphere, oceans, coasts, land, and ice, and their effects on ecosystems, weather, hazards, and communities. Supported activities include research, analysis, observations, numerical modeling, and service development with stakeholder engagement. Eligible applicants are academic institutions offering doctoral degrees in NOAA-related sciences or non-profit research institutions.
