The FY 2027 Service Area Competition funds grants to enhance health outcomes in medically underserved communities by supporting delivery of comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services. Eligible applicants include various government entities, Native American tribal governments and organizations, public housing authorities, and nonprofits. Service areas for competition are announced annually, with additional areas added as needed throughout the year.
