This opportunity funds the implementation and enhancement of Adult Treatment Courts combining judicial supervision, substance use disorder treatment, drug testing, case management, sanctions, incentives, and recovery support services. The goal is to prevent overdoses and reduce opioid, stimulant, and other substance use among high-risk adults involved in the criminal justice system.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city or township governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, and other local government units such as towns, boroughs, parishes, and villages.
