This funding opportunity supports community-based organizations and federally recognized tribal governments to deliver mentoring and transitional services to individuals returning to communities from adult correctional facilities. The program targets those assessed as moderate to high risk for recidivism and allows services to be provided before and/or after release to aid successful reentry.
Eligible applicants include federally recognized Native American tribal governments and nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status, excluding institutions of higher education.
