This grant supports Phase II of the USDA SBIR/STTR programs, investing federal research funds to promote technological innovation and commercialization by small U.S. businesses. Eligibility is limited to small U.S. businesses that have received SBIR/STTR Phase I awards. Applicants must be for-profit small business concerns controlled by U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Non-profits are ineligible except as research partners under STTR.
