This program provides incentive grants to reduce air pollution from mobile sources and toxic air contaminants. It supports replacing high-polluting vehicles and equipment with cleaner models, building zero-emission infrastructure, and community projects that reduce exposure at sensitive receptors. Projects may also include community greening, paving, and collaborations on truck reroute studies, all aligned with AB 617 Community Emissions Reduction Programs.
Local air districts are eligible to receive funds and distribute them to individual projects. Eligibility is limited to these districts as defined by the program.
