This 1-year grant supports junior investigators at select Georgia universities conducting cancer-related research. It enables early-stage researchers to obtain preliminary data across multiple cancer research areas including basic, translational, clinical, prevention/control, and psychosocial/behavioral research to enhance competitiveness for national funding.
Eligible applicants are junior investigators within six years of their first independent faculty appointment at Augusta University, Georgia Southern University, or the University of Georgia.
