This highly selective, nonpartisan fellowship places political scientists and other professionals on congressional staffs for ten months. It begins with a one-month intensive orientation, followed by work placements and ongoing seminars. The program aims to enhance understanding of Congress, improve scholarship, teaching, and reporting on American national politics.
Applications are open to political scientists from all sub-fields interested in deepening their understanding of Congress and advancing their research agendas.
