The Flexibility Grant provides funding to postdocs and doctoral students facing childcare challenges. It covers external childcare costs and/or salaries for support persons to reduce work hours, enabling researchers to better balance professional and private responsibilities. Eligibility includes SNSF-funded researchers and certain grant holders, with specific conditions on work-time and funding use.
Eligible applicants are doctoral students or postdocs employed on SNSF-funded projects. Postdocs must work at least 80%. Ambizione, PRIMA, Postdoc.Mobility return grant, and Doc.CH holders may also apply. Some restrictions apply on funding use depending on grant type.
