The Joint Research Projects (JRPs) support collaborative research between Swiss researchers and those from partner countries. Projects focus on specific research questions and typically span three to four years. Funding covers research costs similar to SNSF project funding, with each partner organization funding their own researchers. Calls are organized jointly and may be irregular and limited to relevant subject areas.
Eligible applicants are researchers from Switzerland collaborating with researchers from partner countries in bilateral programmes. Collaboration with partner country researchers is required.
