This funding opportunity supports Bay Area transit agencies in securing federal transit dollars for essential capital projects from FY 2027 through FY 2031. Eligible projects include vehicle replacement and rehabilitation, rail and ferry system equipment upgrades, vehicle communications and fare equipment replacement, emissions-reduction systems for buses, safety projects, and station and parking lot rehabilitation.
