This program provides seed funding of $10,000 to Michigan physicians affiliated with non-profit organizations to conduct pilot, feasibility, or small research projects. Funded research must be innovative and evidence-based, focusing on urgent health issues, health inequities, social determinants of health, and health care access, quality, and cost.
Eligible applicants are physicians based in Michigan affiliated with non-profit organizations. Employees of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan or its affiliates and their immediate family members are ineligible.
