This call funds transnational research and innovation projects focused on sustainable water management, excluding extreme events and circularity. Projects should support implementation of global, EU, and national water policies under frameworks like the European Green Deal and Sustainable Development Goals. Topics include integrated monitoring, nature-based approaches at system scale, smart water infrastructures, and resilient water governance. Consortia must include partners from multiple countries and meet eligibility criteria.
Consortia must include at least three partners from three different countries, with at least two independent legal entities from EU Member States or Horizon Europe associated countries. Early Career Researchers are those with a PhD obtained less than 10 years prior to September 8, 2016.
