It offers up to $600,000 in non-dilutive funding over 24 months to support technology refinement, early validation, efficacy validation, and post-market studies. The program requires significant scientific and clinical evidence generation to help ventures achieve regulatory approval, market access, and scaling.
Eligible applicants are Alberta-based for-profit SMEs with significant operational presence and ownership in Alberta. Projects must focus on innovative health technologies requiring preclinical, safety, or clinical efficacy evidence for regulatory approval or market adoption.
