This funding supports investigator-initiated Phase I or Phase IIA clinical trials to validate AI-driven drug repurposing opportunities in any unsolved disease, with a preference for rare diseases. Eligible trials must include AI-generated data as preclinical support and focus on therapies already approved. Preference is given to off-patent drugs and biologics and to AI models that are openly accessible or developed by nonprofits/government.
Eligible applicants must propose clinical repurposing trials for any unsolved disease, preferably rare diseases, using AI-generated data. Both on- and off-patent drugs and biologics are eligible, with preference for off-patent and nonprofit/government-developed AI models.
