CONNECT funds research visits of up to 30 days in partner countries following participation in Frontiers of Research symposia. It supports preparation of joint research projects or publications and strengthens scientific collaboration between Germany and partner countries. Funding includes daily or monthly allowances depending on visit length and scientific position; travel costs are excluded.
Applicants must have participated in a Frontiers of Research symposium and collaborate post-event with at least one other participant from the same symposium. Either the applicant or the host must reside in Germany.
