This fellowship funds UC Berkeley graduate students with ABD status or advancing to candidacy to conduct research in international and area studies broadly defined, including historical and contemporary topics. Research may be conducted on campus, within the United States, or abroad, supporting diverse international and area studies projects.
Eligible applicants are UC Berkeley graduate students in good standing with ABD status or who will advance to candidacy by the fellowship term. Students must be registered with the Graduate Division and comply with human subject research requirements if applicable.
