This grant supports Minnesota-based career readiness and employment preparation programs to become Department of Labor and Industry recognized apprenticeship preparation programs. Funded activities include program development and enrolling participants into registered apprenticeship programs, with emphasis on collaboration with RAP sponsors and ensuring participant pathways into apprenticeships.
Eligible applicants include community-based organizations, workforce development agencies, non-profits, and registered apprenticeship programs in Minnesota with capacity and experience to administer apprenticeship preparation programs. Multi-organizational collaboratives are not allowed.
