The Amtrak Annual Grant Program provides directed Congressional appropriations to Amtrak for a wide range of projects including capital improvements, annual maintenance, debt service payments, and operating expenses on the National Network. Only Amtrak is eligible to receive this directed grant. No other organizations or individuals qualify for funding under this program.
