This program funds law enforcement agencies to develop and expand training in de-escalation tactics, alternative uses of force, crisis intervention teams, and safe interactions with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health issues. It supports regional expansion and curriculum integration to enhance crisis response and community referrals.
Eligible applicants are local, state, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies. Only these agencies may apply for the law enforcement solicitation.
