The Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund supports rural cultural events with attendance over 1,000, or 750-1,000 with strong tourism potential. It features a two-stage application process, requires first-time applicants to contact OCAF before applying, and mandates repayment of at least 15% of gross earned revenue within 60 to 90 days after the event. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with deadlines starting eight months prior to the event.
Eligible applicants are rural events with attendance exceeding 1,000, or between 750 and 1,000 in rural and northern areas with strong tourism potential. First-time applicants must contact OCAF before applying.
