This grant supports Massachusetts-based artists and organizations to create public art projects that embody spatial justice. All artistic disciplines are eligible. Grants range from $15,000 to $30,000 for projects lasting up to two years, starting March 2027. Projects must take place in Massachusetts and creatively cultivate expressions of spatial justice through public artmaking.
Eligible applicants are Massachusetts-based artists aged 18+ or Massachusetts-based community organizations working with artists. Projects must occur in Massachusetts and focus on spatial justice through public art. Past grantees must wait one year after reporting before reapplying.
