This grant supports five bilateral research projects between Rwanda and Malawi focusing on AI and IoT applications in manufacturing processes. Funded projects aim to optimize quality control, process efficiency, demand forecasting, energy management, and supply chain visibility. Teams must include PIs from both countries, engage the private sector, promote women-led teams, and support postgraduate students. Projects should demonstrate innovation, commercialization potential, and community outreach.
