The ARO Young Investigator Program supports outstanding young university faculty pursuing fundamental research in areas relevant to the Army. It provides funding to advance their research and teaching careers, focusing on defense-related fundamental research topics.
Eligible applicants are U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with tenure-track positions at U.S. universities. Applicants must have earned their Ph.D. or equivalent within the last five years.
