The New Ideas Award funds early stage, bold exploratory research that tests novel hypotheses and opens new conceptual or experimental directions in autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. Projects may use any scientific discipline or methodology and must demonstrate relevance to SFARI's mission. Investigators without prior SFARI funding are especially encouraged to apply.
Open to investigators who have not previously been funded by SFARI, with special encouragement for such applicants.
