The Yenching Academy Scholarship supports outstanding Wellesley College seniors and graduates to pursue a customizable interdisciplinary Master's program in China Studies at Peking University. Scholars engage in cross-disciplinary learning, select one of six research areas for their thesis, and explore China's past, present, and future from global perspectives. The program fosters innovative exchanges and prepares future global leaders with nuanced understanding of China.
Eligible applicants are graduating seniors and graduates of Wellesley College from any country except China. Candidates under 28 years old have an advantage.
