The COLA Investment Fund provides up to $3,000 annually to support faculty in the humanities and social sciences with lower-level project expenses such as licensing fees, archive and field travel, and equipment. Funding is supplemental and intended to complement external grants. Applications are accepted and awarded on a rolling basis to eligible tenure-track and professional-track COLA faculty with PI status.
Eligible applicants are tenure-track and professional-track COLA faculty with Principal Investigator status and primary appointments in COLA. Faculty with endowed chairs, discretionary research funds, or prior internal COLA funding for the same project are ineligible. Funding is limited to once per
