This program funds projects that develop the capacity of First Nations and Inuit communities to execute ten core governance functions such as leadership, law-making, financial and human resources management, community involvement, and planning. It supports initiatives that strengthen institutional and professional development within these communities.
Eligible applicants include First Nations, tribal councils, Inuit communities, and organizations benefiting these groups.
