This paid virtual fellowship supports educators in developing short teaching units that engage students with global news, media literacy, and empathy. Fellows implement and evaluate these units, then share their work publicly through an online lesson library and virtual professional development programs, collaborating with journalists and peers.
Open to classroom teachers (grades 4–12) in public, charter, independent, and alternative schools in the U.S. and territories. Educators working with youth and adults in jails, prisons, or detention facilities are also eligible.
