Supports Iowa community colleges and apprenticeship programs to expand physical training capacity through new construction, facility expansion, or equipment procurement. Funds reimburse validated project milestones, with up to $1 million per entity and $1.5 million reserved for healthcare training programs.
Eligible applicants are Iowa community colleges and private sector apprenticeship programs located in Iowa. Applicants must have no recent layoffs, no bankruptcy, no tax arrears, and be registered and in good standing with the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship.
