Provides fellowship opportunities for outstanding undergraduate and graduate students to engage in area studies and world language training at institutions with FLAS programs. Fellowships are allocated to institutions, which then award them directly to students. Supports language study and area studies fellowships.
Eligible applicants are outstanding undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at institutions that receive FLAS fellowships. Applications must be submitted through these FLAS-recipient institutions.
