The Energy Burden and Emissions Reduction Program provides funding for energy-saving home upgrades, small repairs, DIY workshops, and neighborhood leadership opportunities. It aims to lower energy bills, improve safety and comfort, and empower households with resources across Durham, Granville, and Orange counties.
Eligible households must live in Durham, Granville, or Orange County in a single-family, duplex, or mobile home. Both owners and renters may apply, with renters requiring property owner permission.
