Grants support economic and workforce development, business assistance, investment incentives, site selection, technical assistance, and infrastructure projects in Colorado's coal transition communities. Funded projects must create jobs paying at or above median income, increase property tax payments, or enhance economic diversity. Eligible applicants include local governments, tribes, nonprofits, and educational institutions serving Tier One or Tier Two communities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with required local support for Tier One communities.
