This fellowship offers junior and senior conservators and scientists the opportunity to conduct independent research and advanced training in art conservation and scientific study. Fellows receive mentorship, access to The Met's collections, labs, libraries, and research facilities to support manuscripts, dissertations, and conservation projects. Both US and international applicants with appropriate work authorization are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have an MA or higher; junior fellows are recent graduates or current PhD candidates, while senior fellows have at least eight years of experience or hold a PhD. Both US and international applicants with valid work authorization are eligible.
