This funding opportunity supports local education agencies in helping credentialed teachers add Mathematics Instructional Added Authorization, Mathematics Instructional Leadership Specialist, Supplementary Authorization in Introductory Mathematics, Reading and Literacy Added Authorization, or Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist credentials through Commission-approved programs. Agencies may receive up to $6,000 per participant and must provide one third matching funds. There is no service requirement for participants.
Only local education agencies are eligible to apply for funding to support credentialed teachers in adding instructional authorizations.
