The Aspen Rising Presidents Fellowship offers a year-long executive leadership experience for up to 40 aspiring community college presidents. Fellows engage in three residential sessions, mentoring from veteran presidents, and a presidential strategy lab. The curriculum focuses on student success strategies, external partnerships, and institutional capacities to improve outcomes. Participants join a peer network and apply learning to their home colleges, supported by subsidized program costs and limited financial aid.
Applicants do not need to be currently employed at a community college. Eligible candidates include senior leaders in community colleges, higher education, K-12 systems, or executives committed to student success aiming for a presidency within 3-5 years.
