This urgent call supports researchers holding a PhD to address unforeseen urgent needs for securing primary research data or materials. Projects must adhere to FAIR data management principles and ensure open access in credible repositories. Funding covers eligible costs related to data securing for up to one year, excluding conference and publication fees. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with a short digital signature requirement.
Applicants must hold a PhD and be project managers. Grants are administered by Swedish higher education institutions or public organizations meeting Formas' criteria. Participating researchers must have a PhD; other staff need not.
