The Harkness Fellowships support mid-career professionals committed to improving health insurance coverage, access to care, and healthcare quality and efficiency. Funded projects often compare the U.S. with applicants' home countries. The fellowship excludes support for academic degree study and targets experienced health policy researchers and practitioners.
Applicants must be citizens of specified countries or permanent residents in the U.K. with five years tenure. Candidates should be mid-career health policy researchers or practitioners with relevant degrees and demonstrated expertise in health policy.
