This fund supports projects that enhance rural business development, workforce initiatives, community facilities, infrastructure, organizational capacity, and regional collaboration in rural Michigan. It especially encourages multi-county economic development organizations and workforce partnerships to apply under the Regional Collaboration track.
Eligible applicants include tax-exempt organizations, businesses, local governments, educational institutions, regional planning agencies, economic and workforce development organizations, federally recognized tribes, and others serving rural Michigan.
