The HEI Summer Fellowship Program supports highly qualified undergraduate juniors and seniors to engage in tailored environmental health research projects during a 10-week paid summer fellowship. Fellows work full-time with U.S.-based faculty mentors, receive an $8,000 stipend, and participate in professional development activities. The program emphasizes early research experience in environmental health sciences, environmental exposure assessment, epidemiology, and public health.
Applicants must be college juniors or seniors the fall after the fellowship and authorized to work in the U.S. The fellowship requires about 40 hours per week and is intended as a first or early research experience. Fellows should not take more than one summer class.
