This course offers entrepreneurial and finance students hands-on experience in evaluating and investing in early-stage technology startups. Students conduct rigorous due diligence, market research, and field visits to assess investment risks and opportunities. Funding up to $25,000 per startup is available for UT Dallas-affiliated ventures, providing practical exposure to venture capital processes.
Graduate and undergraduate students from any major at UT Dallas are eligible with instructor consent. Completion of a related entrepreneurial finance course is preferred. Auditing is possible with permission.
