Supports interdisciplinary research collaborations between newly hired and established UT Dallas faculty from different departments or schools. Awardees commit to pursuing external funding within 12 months of receiving this internal grant. Proposals require at least two faculty PIs from different UT Dallas units, fostering cross-disciplinary partnerships.
Eligible applicants are newly hired UT Dallas faculty (start date after January 2023) collaborating with established UT Dallas faculty (hired prior to January 2023). Both must be from different departments or schools within UT Dallas.
