This grant supports researchers in life science to develop early-stage academic discoveries into validated methods, products, or processes. It funds goal-oriented projects that accelerate innovation development towards commercialization over up to two years, with funding between 1 and 4 million SEK. The grant excludes patent costs and is tied to the Wallenberg Launch Pad support mechanism.
Eligible applicants are scientists employed at Swedish universities with prior or current Wallenberg foundation grants or affiliations. Postdocs and PhD students cannot be main applicants but may participate. Co-PIs can be international but not funded by this grant.
