The NIH Summer Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work side-by-side with leading scientists in biomedical research areas such as behavioral and social sciences, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematical modeling, computational biology, and biostatistics. This program provides immersive summer research experience in a dedicated environment at NIH.
Open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled at least half-time in an accredited college. Applicants must be students currently pursuing higher education.
