This grant funds state governments to purchase UAS Detection, Identifying, Monitoring, Tracking, and Mitigation technologies to protect public safety and critical infrastructure from unlawful UAS use. It prioritizes building national detection and response capacity and securing the 2028 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, including the Olympic torch relay. Accredited law enforcement and correctional agencies must meet training and certification standards to operate certain technologies.
